I let him leave
Never wanted him to stray
I let him win
After he took my heart away
To just start again-
I needed him to leave,
But I begged him to stay
Hoping and praying
To just get through that day
I wanted him near
But he pushed away far
I let him walk out
Let him run right out the door
Now I'll remain,
Still wanting more.
