Love on a Pedestal

Coffee Mugg

The torment I feel inside,
Missing you wanting you,
Then there's someone's foolish pride,
Where are you?

Love is always there,
In SICKNESS and in health,
You know how I feel, I care,
You make my heart melt.

Days of wine and roses,
I might not give to thee,
But you can count on little posies,
I can get them for free. ..... Lol.

My heart is yours,
To do with what you want,
My love endures,
Something I want to flaunt.

The sunset is ours,
The moon up above,
Let us dwindle away the hours,
Let me show you my love.

The light is slowly dimming,
I am missing you so much,
You know I am aching,
I long for your touch.

A kiss goodnight,
A cuddle with you,
You know it is right,
With our love so true.

Ken I really really like this poem. Its something I would write. Its written like a song & you can make this into a song by combining your bars together making it an 8 bar arrangement. because the rhyme patterns fits perfectly as it is written. The Torment up... to You Make would be verse 1. My heart is yours to Let me .. would be the 8 bar chorus. The light..to With Our would be your 2 nd verse. Then you'd repeat your chorus & then Days of wine & roses could be your vamp variation. If you repeat the chorus again then you could reuse The Sunset is ours again as an outro. Very well done:)

O Ken...that is so beautiful! Who is this lady who inspires such romantic art from you? Or is she just a dream lady? You need to show that special someone these wonderful little flowers that you grow so well...she will be yours forever.
