I dream of my lover
As lovers do dream.
She is like the clouds
Soft and gentle.
Her beauty blinds my mind
As if drunk in darkness.
As lovers do dream.
She is like the clouds
Soft and gentle.
Her beauty blinds my mind
As if drunk in darkness.
My lover,
Let me caress you gently,
Like the morning dew
On the roses of the field.
Let me kiss your lips,
More poise than wine.
Hold me in your breast
perfectly made by its maker.
Lie with me my lover,
That you may adorn me
With your perfume.
Kiss me and speak to me softly.
Sweet words I will whisper to you
Until I mount you above the
Realms of the heavens.
