Love is Like a Poppy
Love is like a poppy
Swaying in the breeze,
Lilting, tilting, toward the sun
She only lives to please.
Love is like a blue sky
Filtering the light,
Bringing joy with each new day
And stars to kiss at night.
Love is like my heartbeat
Strong and oh, so true,
That moves in rhythm with your own
And whispers, "I love you."
