There are chemically produced products on the market that anyone can buy that claim to have the same effect as natural pheromones. Do they really work? Do they act like the gypsies "Love Potion #9"? Can you catch the man or women of your dreams by wearing a pheromone cologne?
According to the Human Pheromone reviews http://www.human-pheromone-reviews.net/ For the ladies, Attract Mate was the highest scorer, and was said to have a good smell and claming effect on the men who tested it. Second place was Alter Ego. The men who tested this one said "they liked the two in different ways, but Alter Ego excited them more for sex, whereas Attract mate made them calm and feel good." The third place, runner up was Athena Pheromone 10:13. Six out of 14 men who tested this product reported that it made them feel more ready for sex, but this product got a somewhat bad review for it's overpricing and poor website.
What about the men? What should they look for in a pheromone? Well, first place was a product called Pherlure. All eight of the ladies who tested this product loved the scent, and the price was reported as average. Second place was Attract Mate, said to have a somewhat musky scent, but got a thumbs up rating by the women who tested it. Third place, and runner up was Ultrallure. Only five of the women liked this scent and referred to it as the "Tommy Boy" scent. It is however more affordable.
What about natural aphrodisiacs? Do they really work when it comes to attracting the opposite sex? I did some research on aphrodisiac foods and came up with this list:
Almond's aroma is said to induce passion in a women, avacado's are said to resemble a man's testicles when hanging on a tree, while figs and oysters are said to resemble the female genitals. Bananas are full of the necessary vitamins for the sex hormones, and sweet basil will stimulate the sex drive and boost fertility. Chocolate is one of the best known aphrodisiacs, and goes appropriate with Valentine Day candy. Carrots will stimulate the male, as well as coriander, another ancient old herb and stimulator. Although the smell of garlic can be unpleasant, the herb is said to stir sexual desire. For problems with sterility and impotency, try a little honey. The ladies will find licorice root stimulating if they chew on a little piece. Put lots of mustard on your food to increase sexual desire and stimulate the sex glands. Chinese women love nutmeg for stimulation. Don't forget strawberries and raspberries, sometimes called the fruit nipples, and their high content of vitamin C. Last but not least is wine. Drink a little wine in moderate amounts for sexual stimulation.
I also found other claims to aphrodisiacs besides foods or perfumes which included, rhinoceros horns, deer sperm, music, essential oils, gemstones, candles, flowers and mysticism. If all else fails, there is always something called Love Potion #9, I suppose a mixture of all of the above.
