and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord amongst the trees of the garden.
And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?" (Genesis 3:8-9)
In the cool of the evening
God came down to talk,
And they heard the voice of God
in the garden where He did walk:
"Adam, Adam, where art thou?"
They could hear him call.
But, Adam and Eve, they hid themselves
It was after the Fall....
But Love prevailed, regardless of,
regardless of their sin.
God made a way
so they could stay
and fellowship once again!
God took a lamb
that gave its life
And draped its skins
upon man and wife.
He clothed them with drops of blood
displaying there the way of Life.
And Love prevailed, regardless of,
regardless of their sin.
God made a way
so they could stay
and fellowship once again!
And though the earth, now cursed and hard,
with many toils and dark despair,
God's tender hand
revealed the plan
that shows His Love and endless care.
So now we can
face Him again
in coats of His own righteousness!
He took our place,
such matchless grace,
and freely gives forgiveness!
Yes, Love prevails, regardless of,
regardless of our sin.
God made a way
so we this day
could hear His voice once again!
