Love is Round

Shey Marque
Wrapped in a spinning sheet of white sand,

Heath looms and beckons.

I'm drawn into his sparkling tornado and

Together we orbit the desert

In the humid night air.

Such is the fantasy of dreams.

Perfect pirouettes dissolve into a graceful arabesque;

So still and delicate.

My toes sink deep in the silken sand,

One bare leg extends beneath sheer threads of silver.

Into the breeze he whispers my name, Angelina;

A prelude to the vanishing.

Trails of bubbles float through the air,

Glistening against the night sky.

Absorbed into a circle of gossamer,

Revolving toward the Paris moon,

I close my eyes and feel that everything is round.

Love is round.

    Aye lass..."Such is the fantasy of dreams"

    Heath, Angelina, and, perchance Paris....all stars, all worthy of the dream...yet they all be as gossamer to a full Parisian moon....in early Autumn from my own memory...

    Much to think on in this poem....a pleasure to read...
