I want to love you like you've never been loved before

I want to love you like you want me to love you

I want to be the only one that you've ever adored

But that's not life

That's not love

That's what you say, anyway

You say that the picture perfect, once in a lifetime love doesn't exist

But others say that's what those who've never experienced it say

How do you know that what you think is right,

If you don't even try with me to feel that way?

I want to love you like I've never loved another

I want to love you like you've never been loved before

I want to love you like you want me to love you

I want to be the only one that you've ever adored

But that's not life

That's not love

You tell me love is not that first thing on your mind in the morning,

Last thing on your mind at night kind of feeling,

That it's something you must learn to deal with, put up with, live with,

But if that love is your ultimate love, you shouldn't have to be dealing...

It should come natural, it seems to me

It should not be something to merely tolerate
