Love Within a Night Dream

SAIKAT KUMAR DUTTA

You were smiling at me firstly,
To see you I was extremely surprised really.

Then,
You walked slowly towards me,
Wearing the pink skirt covering your lady soft knee,

Then,
You gave me a rose with a spine,
It's fragrance was so adult, like the Paris wine,

Then,
I touched your forehead by my thirsty lips,
My blood was moving within a whirling utopia dips.

Then,
I asked, how are you my sweet-heart ?
You replied, you were well, with your natural "I'm Ok" art.

Then,
You showed the manuscript of your newest poem,
and told that to show it to me and to see me here you actually came.

Then,
Suddenly, the rose spine injected into my ring finger,
Oh ! no, I found myself within a hundred thousand dollars of wonder.

Then,
I understand that,
It was the part of my night dream, then I started to cry,
Now, tell me who will wipe out the tears of my tear-filled eye ???
