Lover's Quarrel - Big Brother 9 - Natalie Let's Matt Have It

Natalie finally has enough of Matt's attitude and lets him have it in front of the whole house. Thus far this season, they have been a mixture of everything to each other. They have had sex, but not intercourse. They have kissed, cuddled and fought. Matt refuses to get to know Natalie personally, even though it will likely hurt their team later in the game. He goes around and tells everyone that he cannot stand Natalie, but he tells her that he likes her, but cannot allow himself to get close to her in fear of messing up his game. He can be sweet and cruel towards her. On Natalie's part, she goes around telling everyone how much they like each other and how he gives her butterflies. Their rocky relationship was due for a major storm.

Immediately after the Margarita Party, Natalie and Matt have a little tiff. She tells him she is mad at him for ignoring her. He says he is mad at her for telling everyone in the house that he will not have sex with her (Note: He has also been going around the house telling everyone that Natalie wants to have sex with him, but he will not do it on television). She told him she was just teasing him by saying those things, but he does not like it at all. James tells them that he loves both of them and for them to stop because it is not worth it.

Natalie goes into the bedroom and Allison follows her. Allison tells her not to ignore Matt, but to stop trying. Natalie said she would stop trying. Matt then asks Chelsia to go check on Natalie and all of the girls end up in the bedroom with Natalie. They all compare notes on Matt and how he thinks he can have any of them. The girls suggest Natalie go and confront Matt in front of the guys. And she does.

Everyone in the house sits on the living room couch to watch and participate in Natalie's confrontation of Matt. Matt tells her that he is sorry for being mean to her and that the reason he was cast for the show was because he is a jerk. He justifies himself by pointing out everyone else's typecast for the show and they all laugh about the roles each of them have been cast for.

Natalie brings the subject back to the point of the whole confrontation and tells him "You don't give me the time of day... you don't give me any time of the day." He apologizes and tells her that he has apologized and she is correct in what she is saying about him. Natalie keeps interrupting Matt because he does not get it that he is only being a jerk to her and not to the other people in the house. He rips on her for interrupting him constantly while he is trying to make his point. After he asks for a glass of water and Josh takes off to get it for him so he can continue to talk and everyone laughs about it, Matt says "I am sorry if you feel that I have been extra particularly mean to you...Maybe I have, I don't mean to do it, but maybe I have, okay."

Matt explains that he is missing home really badly and when he is hanging out with the guys, he can forget about it for awhile, but when he is laying in bed with her or alone, he comes near tears. Natalie says that they are all missing home. Matt says "I am sorry, okay sweetie? I have been a little mean towards you."

Meanwhile, Josh has brought Matt his water, placed it on the table and goes to join the audience on the living room couch. He settles in for the show. This is too funny how they are all sitting there watching the whole thing as if they are on The Jerry Springer Show.

Matt keeps talking and will not let Natalie respond, he keeps telling her to let him talk for five minutes, then she can yell at him all she wants. She wants to respond to him talking about something she said to him when the confrontation started. She told him that he said the way she is free with her body is wrong. He wants to clarify that he gives everyone a hard time about stuff, but he is not being serious when he says things to them and she took what he said about her seriously. He said he never said what she did was wrong. The whole thing was that she was giving him a hard time and he finally got annoyed and said that he was not attracted to what she did to get her to drop it.

He tells Natalie in front of the whole house that "Out of all the girls here you are the nicest, no offense (To the other women of the house), but you are the most genuinely nice person I have ever met in my entire life. And I mean that from the bottom of my heart." Everyone claps.

He tells her that he would have sex with her and she said "I don't want to have sex with you, so get that out of your mind!" Josh and Amanda are covering their mouths up when she says that.

He keeps apologizing and says that he is trying to be nicer to her and she responds with "How do you try to be nicer when you don't talk to me all day, Mattie?" They get more heated as they argue over how little attention Matt pays to Natalie and how he talks to everyone in the house, except her and she is his partner in the game.

He tells her how she goes around joking, but saying the same things over and over again which gives everyone else in the house the impression that she wants to have sex with him. He says he never goes around saying that she wants him (Note: he has).

Matt says "You're right. You are nice as pie and I'm a _____." He then talks about during the Margarita Party that she kept saying things over an over again to him. She responds back that it is not as bad as what he does by going up to girls and asking them for sex. Natalie's illustration of Matt's behavior and her choice of words cracks the audience up and Josh can barely hold back his laughter while Amanda is covering her face with a pillow in embarrassment.

Matt says that Natalie is not getting what he is trying to say. Josh asks if he means as an example "I really want a Valentines Day kiss?" Matt says "Yes, yes." Amanda asks about Natalie asking him for hugs and to cuddle. Then Matt turns to Natalie and says "When you say things like that, it makes people think that you want me." Natalie yells "You did say you were the cuddle master, so I'm just throwing your own medicine right back at you." Matt says "You're right. You're right. Now I understand. When I say I'm the cuddle master, you're just giving it back to me" by asking for hugs and stuff. Natalie says "Exactly." Matt said "You're too sweet." Natalie gives some more examples of things Matt has said and how the things she has been saying to him is her way of teasing him about the things he says.

Matt said to everyone and to her "Now we all understand. That's her way of _____ (his word for teasing). She does not want me. Now we all understand. That has cleared the air. Now we're done. Sorry for being mean to you and I'm going to try being particularly nice to you. I'll _____ make breakfast in bed for you tomorrow. I don't know how to cook but maybe I'll make, I'll have Allison..." Natalie interrupts saying she does not want him doing all that and says "I want you treating me like a normal human being, Mattie. I don't want you being extra nice. Treat me like a normal person. Like you treat everyone else in this house."

Josh asks to speak and says that the rest of the house feels "That she is a delicate fragile flower.. and we don't want to see her continue to be hurt on a daily basis." Natalie says "Thank you, Joshuah." Matt says "You are absolutely right." Matt said he did not know that this whole thing would be out in the open in front of the whole house. Josh replied "Well, she feels like we are her only support because you don't support her." Matt turns to Natalie and tells her he does support her.

They hug and then Matt says "And next on Jerry Springer!" Matt then turns to everyone and asks if anyone else has anything they would like to say or get out in the open. Allison speaks up and says that maybe Matt is giving Natalie mixed messages because at night it is one thing and during the day another. Matt said that was in the beginning and since then they have not kissed or anything. After they hash that all out, Matt says "This Hate Mattie meeting is adjourned."
