Loving Each Other

God is love and He commands us to love each other. In fact, God said, "How can we love Him whom we've never seen yet hate our brothers that we see?" How can we truly love God and despise family, friends, and beyond? Some of us hate our spouses while sharing the same bed. We hate our bosses (justified hatred), just kidding, and we hate our enemies although God assures us He'll make our enemies a footstool, we continue to hate or strongly dislike individuals. Most of this hatred stirs from childhood, if family related, while some are wounded hearts who refuse to forgive. Some are just diabolical and love to hate. Is that an oxymoron spirit?

God so loved this world that He gave His only son so that we may inherit eternal life. God truly loves us to sacrifice His son on a cross while most of us won't sacrifice ignoring those who offend us. We'll reprimand that culprit in an unspiritual manner, and then influence our comrades to hate our enemies as well. The Word says, "We must love good and hate evil," but we love evil and hate good sometimes. God will never condone us hating each other, even when we're wounded by people, including the terrorists, the disobedient kids, the adulterous spouse, and those evil family members and friends. We must continue to love them because God loves us regardless of imperfection. If someone is causing havoc in your life, God teaches us to love and pray for those who spitefully use and persecute us, because whenever you extend love toward disgruntled individuals, you've just defeated their evil agenda to frustrate you eternally. Never submit to the devil's schemes, his hatred is pandemic. We'll have oppositions before us but with God, hatred has no power over us. Meditate on God's word and serve one another in love because the entire law is summed up in a single command, which is love your neighbor as yourself. If we keep devouring one another, we will continue to destroy each other, so learn to love.
