The next time someone does something to show their love for you, do something wonderful to return that feeling to them. Then take it one step forward and do someone nice for someone else as well. You will make others in your life feel wonderful and it will make you feel better too. Once you start this cycle of showing love to the people in your life and passing it on to more and more people it will keep on growing. You will notice it in your family, friends, your community, the people in your church, your co-workers, the people you know from any groups or clubs you belong to and even strangers you meet for the first time. People love to feel good and by continuously showing those around you how much they mean, they will want to give the same feeling back to you and to other people they know.
If the chain gets broken and you notice that things have changed around you, then start it up again. Do some wonderful things for a few different people. It won't take long to get things back on track and you will see beautiful and positive things happening all around you again. The bible gives us the instruction for love. It tells us to love everyone, and to do to others as you would have them do to you. This golden rule can change the world if we continually practice it in our lives. The bible tells us we will blessed even more if we bless others. So not only will you get back all the love you show to your family and friends but you will be blessed even more than you've given. Here is the golden rule and a few verses about love and blessings as written in the bible.
Golden Rule
Luke 6:31:
31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.
Love
1 Peter 4:8:
8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
John 15:12-13:
12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8a; 13
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Blessings
Acts 20:35:
35 In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: "It is more blessed to give than to receive."
Imagine how much better the world around you will be if you show love to those around you every day. The power of love can work wonders in your life. It can make you happy and keep you looking on the positive side of life. It can make your family and the relationships in your life flourish. Follow the golden rule and start living the life of love. You can help make the world a better place by choosing to do one simple thing every day. Love.
