The side benefit from this cookie recipe is that they are good for you, providing 40 mg. of potassium per cookie, too. If you are going to snack, it should surely be a healthy cookie like this.
Recipe
Ingredients:
Self-rising flour: 2 1/4 cups
Brown Sugar: 1 1/2 cups
Butter or margarine: 1 stick
Raisins: 1 cup
Applesauce: 1/2 cup
Eggs: 2
Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
Vanilla; 1 teaspoon
Preheat the oven to 375 degree.
Cream margarine and sugar, and add remaining ingredients.
Drop by small spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
When you press on cookie when done, there should almost be no indention.
