Mitestarossa
My mouth and my head want me to eat much more than my stomach does. I need to eat low calorie foods that make me feel full so that I eat less. Many dieting centers such as Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers encourage their participants to eat foods that make them feel full sooner and last longer.

Drinking a glass of water or a glass of skim or low fat milk will also help you to feel full longer.

Vegetables With Low Fat Cheese

Eat your favorite vegetable with a low fat cheese. Eating vegetables with a protein will help you to feel full longer without adding on extra calories. Just make sure that the cheese is a low fat cheese. If you just eat vegetables, you may feel hungry sooner.

Fish

Eat fish without breading or heavy sauces. The protein in fish will fill you up and help you feel full longer. Fish also contains many natural fatty acids such as Omega 3's that are essential to the human body. Eating fish is good for you and low calorie.

Baked Potato or Sweet Potato

Eat a baked potato or sweet potato to fill yourself up. Drink a glass of skim milk with it to feel extra full.

Rice Cakes

Rice cakes will fill you up in the many different flavors that are available. Drink a glass of water with it and you will feel full for hours.

Lean Meat With Whole Grain Bread

Pairing a lean meat such as turkey or chicken with a whole grain bread will make you feel full. As long as you leave off the mayonnaise the calorie count is low.

Whole Grain Pasta

Whole grain pasta with a red sauce is a filling meal with a low calorie count. Don't be tempted to add a heavy sauce such as an alfredo.

Beans and Rice

Beans are an excellent protein when paired with rice. Beans and rice will fill you up more than you want and keep your full for hours.

Keep yourself busy between meals so that you are not tempted to eat more than you should. Only eat when your stomach tells you that you are hungry. Do not listen to your head or your mouth. Always wait at least twenty minutes after you eat to feel that you are full.

Avoid foods that are high in calories up do not fill you up if you want to maintain your weight or lose weight.
