The 3-day weekend is here...what to do, what to do? We live along the Southern California Coast, so there is no problem having a fun Staycation that anyone would envy. With over 1200 feet of length for your viewing pleasure, take an early morning stroll with your coffee and start the day right. For a nice stretch, grab some comfy shoes and park near Del Mar. Take a walk down the hill and slowly make your way there. Along the way and near the water, you'll find plenty of restaurants, where you can sit and people watch. The Fisherman's Restaurant, which is right on the pier, is a nice place to "hang out."

~~Golf 18 holes or have Fun at the Driving Range

Go to the driving range and hit some golf balls or work on your putting; there is no better way to have fun than at one of the golf courses in San Clemente. I am not the best golfer, but like to have fun! My husband and I made a great afternoon of it just going to the driving range at Talega to hit some balls, then up to the putting green for a little competition. Couples can make this a fun time! Have a relaxing bite to eat and a drink at the clubhouse afterwards.
