However; there are still places that will provide low and no cost spay and neutering services in Los Angeles County, California. Some of these services require proof of income or residence within certain cities in Los Angeles.

Gee, Tom- thanks for you comment- but I think there are enough cat lovers out there to completely override the few that feel the way you do. I know you were probably trying to be funny and I appreciate the page view. I love dogs also- and all kinds of critters. I can't even bring myself to get rid of the hornet's nest that keeps growing on my eve.

We are fortunate enough in this area to have an elderly vet who is no longer in it for the money who provides low cost services to people in this area. I was told that neutering my cat had greatly lengthened his life expectantcy. I guess it has made him more adoptable if something should happen to me and I can no longer care for him. I think that people who really love their pets will find a way to have this done. Thanks for sharing. :)

Makes more sense to neuter or spay than to find the money to feed more puppies and kittens.
