Low Start Up Business Ideas

R. Bourne, Ph.D.
In a recenttly published article by kocherp, at Brighthub.com, there are very good low start up business ideas. These ideas could be implemented with less $1000. These are basically home-based business ideas that could be used rapidly if you need to replace or complement your income. Keep in mind that any business has its hurdles and obstacles and that it is not a free ticket to riches. However, these low start up business ideas could be bringing you a nice amount of income.

Low start up business idea 1: Consulting

If you are good at anything you could start your consulting business, especially if you have some law, accounting, marketing, technology background.

Low start up business idea 2: Financial Planner.

Just like consulting but may need some licensing.

Low start up business idea 3: Editorial Services.

If you are good at writing then this is for you. You could be doing copy-editing, indexing, editing, book reading, ghost writing, magazine writing, and web site content writing. Basically we do some of this here at Associated Content (by the way my cost was zero)

Low start up business idea 4: Event Management:

If you like people and have organization skills this is an excellent idea for a low start up cost business. This business idea involves organizing events for clients from start to end.

Low start up business idea 5: Information Technology Handyman

Deal with computers. If you know computers you could make some money. Software deployment, network infrastructure, and security could be some areas for a business of your own.

Low start up business idea 6: Pet Services:

If you like pets this line of business is for you. You probably will have a lot of clients. If home based your cost may be very low. All you do is take care of pets when owners can't (because of work or on holidays). You could add a training facility (dogtraining) if you learn how to train pets.

This ideas are for information and orientation purposes. I (or Associated Content) do not claim you will be succesful if you implement any of these ideas. Investing in any business has its own associated risks wich you need to evaluate before any actual investing is done. Please do your homework before taking any action on this or any other business ideas)

Good ideas. I agree with Jan. I have a friend who is always watching pets for people. She does it as a favor and usually gets "paid" with a gift card or small token. I told her she should go into business and start charging for her services.

There is a huge need for people to take care of their pets while the pet owners are on vacation.
