Lucky Brand Harriet Lace Up Boot

The New Womens Harriet Ankle Boot from Lucky Brand and Other Boots that Compare

Tonya Brisnehan
If you like the idea of a gorgeous lace up women's boot style that has the look and feel of quality yet won't break the bank, the Lucky Brand Harriet is a good choice. This is such a cute style, having a sort of blocked look to the heel to lend it a bit of a funky look. This coupled with the retro style of the above the ankle lace up style makes this boot one of my own top choices for the fall of 2011. It is constructed from a smooth leather and comes in a couple darker shades. The retail price for this boot is around $140.

While the Harriet actually has quite a unique look to it, there are other lace up ankle boot styles that you will possibly want to compare before making a purchase:

Steve Madden Graanie:

When compared to the Harriet boot, the Graanie boot from Steve Madden nhas even more of a feminine retro lace up style, having a distinct look of women from the Old West. The lacing on this boot is quite slender, and it has a bit more of a lift in the heel. Plus this boot falls within the price range for most women that makes it more affordable. This boot comes in three different earthy colors and has a retail price of around $130.

Frye Carson Lace Up Boot:

I can almost not say enough abouut the Frye Carson Lace Up. This boot was released with the spring styles in 2011 and not only has a retro lace up look, but a distinct western boot appeal. It has a bit of a curvy upper with a rounded toe, and a lower heel with padded footbed for a comfortable fit. It comes in quite a number of colors and may just prove to be one of the most popular boots for women for the cooler months of the year. The retail price for the Carson Lace Up is around $250.

Dolce Vita Madrona:

The Madrona boot from Dolce Vita is a new addition to the collection this year. It too features a sort of weathered look like the Harriet, yet has more seams and layers that lend it sort of a tailored look. This boot comes in Desert and Black colors and has a retail price of around $220.

For a purchase of an ankle style lace up boot this year, it appears that any of the above boots with similar features to the Lucky Brand Harriet boot will be good picks. Whether you are searching for more of a bargain or simply want to purchase the boot that appeals the most, there is probably one on the list above that will suit nicely.
