The Lugano Trestle Dining Table measures forty-three point three inches in width, seventy-five inches in length and nine point nine inches in height (for the table top) and is thirty inches off the floor. It can seat six people comfortably, but if needed, it can seat eight persons. The lovely thing about the Lugano Trestle Dining Table is that it looks like it has a little bit of history. It is actually in the trestle style, which is one of the oldest styles of dining tables. The Craftsman Era inspired this Lugano Trestle Dining Table. The Craftsman Era refers to the movement wherein there was a dramatic rebellion against the Victorian Period or style wherein everything excessive was favored.
The Lugano Trestle Dining Table has a deeply beveled top. I really like its trestle frame, from which it gets its name. The trestle style refers to a framework consisting of a horizontal beam supported by two pairs of sloping legs. It is usually used in pairs to support flat surfaces such as a tabletop. Another great feature of the Lugano Trestle Dining Table are its feet. The Lugano Trestle Dining Table has wide feet that add to the impact of the entire table. The Lugano Trestle Dining Table has stretchers which are held in position by a blackened, hammered bolt. The Lugano Trestle Dining Table is made from rubber wood, making it extremely solid and durable. I have a feeling our Lugano Trestle Dining Table will last us a lifetime. The Lugano Trestle Dining Table is eco friendly as it is made from eco-friendly rubberwood. The Lugano Trestle Dining Table comes in a warm, medium brown finish that I think is perfect for the look we are trying to achieve.
