Seattle is know for lots of things like rain, and the Space Needle. Seattle is even known for its food. When most people think about Seattle and food they think about coffee. But Seattle has some other popular food choices besides their favorite drink. One of these popular Seattle food places is the Lunchbox Laboratory.

The Lunchbox Laboratory is located in the Ballard neighborhood Seattle at 7302 ½ 15th Avenue North West, Seattle Washington. As the name may suggest the Lunchbox Laboratory is not your normal burger joint. The Lunchbox Laboratory can be pricey but part of the price is the large amount of food you get and another part of the price is in the high quality of the ingredients. So while the Lunchbox Laboratory is pricey with hamburgers costing at least $10 to start most patrons think they are getting a good deal for what they pay.

The Lunchbox Laboratory is named Lunchbox Laboratory for two reasons. The first reason is that the Lunchbox Laboratory has lots of old lunchboxes on the wall. Most people find the lunch box theme entertaining and nostalgic though a small minority think it looks trashy especially for a place with a pricey burger. The second part of its name is because you get to experiment with various foods and options like lamb, duck, pork, or even traditional beef. With all the options of meat and condiments there must be thousands of food options at the Lunchbox Laboratory.

The Lunchbox Laboratory fits in well in Seattle. It is a bit artsy and eclectic but in a sophisticated way. The Lunchbox Laboratory fits in perfectly with the city and its residents.

With 8 patties and 50 toppings some just choose to go with the chef's special. The dork burger is a popular choice with duck, pork, and a mystery meat. The dork burger is a deal at only $10 one of the cheapest burger choices.

Whatever burger you get you only have yourself to blame. Fortunately at the Lunchbox Laboratory you will probably be congratulating yourself on the burger you created.
