This site is a support group for lung cancer patients, their families and friends. According to their site, you can share and exchange information about clinical trials; diagnosis; treatments; concerns; and also share your fears and hopes. This is a spam free environment where the public can not view your posts. To become a member you must apply and be approved before you will be able to view or post, which insures your privacy from people looking to research.

This site has groups for all of the following: patients; caregivers; loved ones; teens; young adults; parents; and the bereaved. The groups are facilitated by an oncology social worker and are password protected, also available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

This is a group that hosts free support groups. You can register for groups that deal with non-small cell lung cancer, small cell lung cancer, or bronchi alveolar (BAC) groups. Their site also states that they have the following groups as well:
Patients for patients and caregivers, many of those websites are considered to be clearly among the best sites for a particular disease or condition.
Cancer Advocacy Organizations, many of which were created directly from the membership of an ACOR mailing list.
Professional Organizations
A website for patients as well as relatives, caregivers, friends of someone who has lung cancer, people of all ages are welcome to be involved in their groups. Chat isn't always topical and may sometimes revolve around politics, families, and life in general. They make sure to protect privacy and make sure that people who are lurking or attempting to interview for research are not allowed access to the discussion boards.

This webpage is for lung cancer survivors that connect patients, families, friends and caregivers for inspiration and support. You can share stories, ask questions, feel reassured that you are not alone in this time of your life and interact with other members of the site.
