The LUSH sugar scrubs, Sugar Babe and Sugar Scrub are both for the body but they differ in more ways then just color. Sugar Scrub is a forest green color and is made from sugar, cream of tater, fennel oil, ginger and lavender oil. The LUSH Sugar Scrub is suppose to diminish cellulite by using ginger and fennel, while the lavender has a soothing affect on the skin and senses, it is also Vegan.
The Lush Sugar Babe is a half ball of off white sugar, cream of tater, ylang ylang and mimosa flowers with a solid pink core of extra virgin coconut oil. Sugar Babe is a body scrub made to be extra moisturizing and leave a sweet scent. The Lush Sugar Babe also uses natural ingredients like the Sugar Scrub but is not a Vegan product.
LUSH suggest that the sugar scrubs be used in the shower or bath on wet skin. First wet the skin, rub the sugar scrub over your skin and then rinse off. The Lush sugar scrubs are not made to be used in water; they are made of sugar and will melt. Many people complain that using the LUSH sugar scrubs this way causes the scrubs to only last for a couple of uses. I prefer to use the sugar scrub the way the LUSH associate demonstrated in the store. Break off a small piece of the sugar scrub, about the size of your thumb nail, mix the scrub with a drop of water in your hands then rub on your skin, which can be wet or dry. Rub your skin for a couple of minutes then add a few more drops of water and rub until a lather forms. Once finished scrubbing, rinse, pat dry and enjoy your smooth, ultra moisturized skin.
I love using the LUSH Sugar Scrubs on my feet, elbows, knees and any where else I am feeling the need for some extra smoothness or moisturizing. After the first use you can immediately feel the difference, the skin is left ultra smooth and soft. The scent of both sugar scrubs is light and pleasant. The green Sugar Babe has a clean, fresh scent while the Sugar Scrub has the scent of a freshly baked coconut cake. Using the LUSH sugar scrubs has added a few additional minutes to my shower routine but it is so worth it. The smoothness and softness of my skin last from one LUSH sugar scrub treatment to the next.
Give it a try, LUSH Sugar Scrubs you can never be to smooth or soft.
