Luxurious Dual SIM Samsung S9402 in the Wild

Samsung is all over the mobile phone market, so either it's a camera phone or a music handset, Samsung is there to offer users a wide range of devices to choose from. Today, Samsung leaked another piece that seems to be its first Dual SIM mobile phone to be available outside China. After D780 Dual SIM was released in June 2008, Samsung replenishes its Dual SIM line-up with a luxurious handset that challenges Nokia's 8800 series or the latest Motorola Aura.

The new Samsung S9402 Duos offers dual slot for SIM-cards, but also gets mobile freaks interested through the most expensive materials used for manufacturing. The main compound of the device is a scratch resistant glass, which covers the phone, but also a metallic mix alloy made from rhodium and platinum. The alloy covers the phone's shell making it almost indestructible.

Some of the high-end features of the phone include QVGA AMOLED-2-inch display supporting 262k colors, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, image stabilization, smile function (automatic shot in the presence of smiles in the picture), LED, FM-radio with RDS, 1GB internal memory, microSDHC support up to 8GB, Bluetooth 2.0 and USB and a medium 960 mAh capacity battery.

Also, the unit is equipped with a power amplifier Bang & Olufsen / ICEPower for better sound speaker phone, but lacks 3G connectivity.

The phone's size is exactly 115x48x16mm and weighs around 140g (including battery). It features support for GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz), GPRS / EDGE for a SIM-card and GSM (900/1800 MHz), GPRS / EDGE for the second SIM-card.

There is no information regarding its price and availability yet, but expect a high cost for this luxurious device. If Motorola Aura has been tagged with a price of 1500 Euros, I don't think the leaked Samsung S9402 Duos will be much less.
