Lying
it's just not good
it makes me want
to hide under my hood.

Lies break promises
like stars that refuse to shine
they chip away at my heart
and this soul of mine.
Lying
has no place in my life
it burns my soul
and brings so much strife.
Lies are like death
for the feelings I harbor
either love or friendship
goes away even further.
Lying
you eventually will see
ruins everything
that can or could be.
