Mabinogi G9: Fallon’s Summons Quest Guide

This is a quest guide to help new players get through the Generation 9 quest series for Mabinogi online. Before starting I recommend that players are at least level 90, because some of the monsters in this quest series can be quiet difficult. After you reach level 100 the difficulty will increase a bit for later dungeons. As the guide progress farther on I will make notations for what level you should be before starting the next quest series.

When starting the game you will automatically receive the quest "Fallon's summons", when you reach level 15, and you will be given a large item in your inventory called "Mag Tuireadh Medal." You will need to make your way to Taillteann and talk to the following NPCs (Non playable characters):

First talk to Granat, he is the elf leader located to the east; then talk to Karpfen, she is the Giant located to the west of the town; next talk to Brenda at the clothing store; then talk to Collen, the priest at the church; and then Dorren the Alchemist; and last but not least Andras the human leader to the north west.

After you are done talking to the NPCs, you will be given a new quest to go to Stonehenge and complete the shadow mission. Stonehenge is located to the northwest of the map outside of Taillteann, and just above the Moongate way up in the corner of the map. If you have the Mag Tuireadh Medal in your bag you will simply have to click on the Stonehenge alter to start the mission- I should also note that this is a single player mission, no friends can assist you.

The alter will warp you into a Role play (RP) quest. You will play as the character Fallon, equipped with a battle sword and basic combat skills. His skills are not automatically set so take the time to put them in the quick slots. You will have 30 minutes to clear two waves of monsters. The first wave has a couple of goblins, some goblin archers, and a black wizard. The second wave is pretty much the same as the first, the only difference is that there is an extra goblin that joins the fight, and instead of a black wizard there is a black warrior. This is a very easy mission because you will also have some other NPC guards assisting you. The only thing that may give you a bit of trouble is the black warrior, but you should be able to take him down since you are playing as Fallon. After all of the monsters are defeated it will trigger a cut scene, and will then bring you back to the normal world as your character. Open your quest log and press the "Complete" button to finish the mission. Now you must wait for the next quest to drop by owl.

Andras's test

Upon entering the game most players will automatically receive the quest "Andras's test", to start the G9 mission. If you don't receive the quest, just relog or wait a few hours in game until the quest does drop. Once you have the mission you will need to travel to the town of Taillteann and make your way to the human headquarters to the north. Andras will give you a task to prove your worth and will ask you to hunt and kill 10 Dire wolf cubs located to the south west of Taillteann. After you kill the 10 cubs you will then need to make your way farther west to kill 3 Plateau Wild Boars. Be careful here because if your level isn't high enough the wolves can be a bit tough, and you should also watch out for the Boar's counterattack skill.

After the animals are slain return back to Taillteann and talk to Andras again to complete the quest and receive the "Alchemist seal" item. She will now ask you to travel to Stonehedge (located to the North West above the moongate) and use the seal to enter Leymore's memory. This will start another RP quest inside the shadow mission world.

You will play as Leymore the Alchemist. You will have help from another Alchemist named Cai to assist you in battle. If you have a friend with you an actual human player can take control of Cai, but if not, he will simply become a computer controlled NPC. I should point out that none of Leymore's skills are set in the quick slot menu, so once the game starts open your skills window and assign his combat skills, he only has about three alchemy attacks as well as his basic combat skills. When you start the battle you will have 25 minutes to complete the mission. You will first need to dispose of a few boars in the first wave, followed by some giant shadow bears, and the last monster is a Cragcow. The easiest way to kill all three types of monsters is to create three spike barricades, one in front of you, and two on your sides to create a connecting wall. Charge your water cannon skill up to about three, and then shoot the monsters while hiding behind your spike barricade. The monsters will get stuck on the barricade and will attack it instead of you. Once the monsters are killed it will trigger a cut scene, watch it, and after it finishes it will bring you back to Stonehenge as your normal character. Press "complete" in your quest log to finish the mission. Now after waiting a few hours in game time (Which is only a few minutes in real life), an owl will fly by over head and will drop you a new quest telling you to return to Andras to tell her what you learned.
