COLOR
Azalea Blossom is a cool lavender and lilac gradient. This is the best Blush Ombre for cool toned- fair skinned ladies as it offers two different colors that complement fair and cool. At the top you have a light pink that degrades into a lavender/lilac. When swirled together, you get a cool bubblegum color. You can also use an angled brush and apply it as a gradient (which looks really cool). The color is the perfect pink-purple blush and MAC had it spot on when they decided to release this since light purple blushes are in this season.
FORMULA
The Blush Ombre is a nice in between of crazy pigmented and no pigmentation. For eyeshadow, yeah. I want that crazy intense color. But for blush, it should be more subdued and easier for people with a heavy hand to use. They definitely aced that part. They go on soft and subtly, nicely highlighting the apples of the cheeks. They also blend impeccably and seem to last all day.
FUNCTIONALITY
Since you are getting three different blush colors in one, this is a very functional product. You have light pink, light purple, and the cool-toned bubblegum. I have also used the pink as blush and the purple for a subtle contour- it looked very natural and cool. Like stated before, you can use an angled brush and get all the colors on your cheeks in their pre-made pattern.
PACKAGING
The packaging is just like any other MAC blush with the clear window, MAC logo, and black compact. However, the Blush Ombre is bigger than typical blushes and actually the size of beauty powders of powder compacts.
PRICE
These retailed at MAC for $25- a great deal for three blush colors. However, they are limited edition. You may be able to find them at your counter, but don't have your heart set on it- they sold out very quickly.
FINAL OPINIONS
Azalea Blossom is my favorite blush of the moment and I love how many looks you can make with it. If you can find a Blush Ombre, I suggest buying it. These have great color, a great formula, and are extremely functional. Overall, a great MAC product.
