MAC Collections Review: Bronze Everyday

Sarah Afshar
Bronze Everyday is a collection recently released by MAC Cosmetics. This collection has a lot of great strengths, especially because the products cater to the spring as well as the summer season. If you are looking for color cosmetics that not only cater to this time of year but make a huge statement, you are going to truly love the Bronze Everyday collection.

When it comes to the spring and the summer season, there is just no holding back on bronzer because it is a very popular, yet useful beauty essential. If you are a bronzer enthusiast, you are going to love this fantastic addition to MAC. These Bronzing Powders produce a color payoff that is incredibly visible, yet chic. The shades include Refined Gold (a vibrant gold with subtle pearl), Gold (a subdued gold with a hint of beige and shimmer), Bronze (a stunning subtle bronze with a hint of shimmer) and Matte Bronze (a deep yellow brown matte with a hint of copper). Matte Bronze is the only matte bronzing powder out of the four fabulous shades. The Bronzing Powders sell for $23 each and are available at your nearest MAC counter. You can also purchase this product from the official website. If you are looking for a great bronzer, I definitely recommend MAC's bronzing powders.

It is hard to believe spring is here and summer is near. It is also hard to believe it's 2011. One of the best products in the Bronze Everyday collection is definitely the Lustre Drops. There are two shades of MAC's Lustre Drops. These shades include Pink Rebel (which is a beautiful bluish pink with gold pearl) and Sun Rush (which is a beautiful peachy bronze with gold pearl). I find that Pink Rebel looks amazing on those with pink undertones, whereas Sun Rush looks fabulous on those with warm undertones. I find that overall, however, these two shades are relatively neutral. Lustre Drops retail for $19.50 and are available at your nearest MAC counter. Also, don't forget to visit the official website, too. If you are looking for a product that is long-lasting, yet sublimely effective, you are going to love MAC's lustre drops.

When women wear makeup, they seem to neglect more areas of the body. The good news is, thanks to MAC's Skinsheen Leg Spray, you can now pay attention to more than just your face. I absolutely love this product and would recommend it to any woman who wears skirts, dresses or shorts often. If you are anything like me, the average working woman in the America, you are going to love this product. The Skinsheen Leg Spray is available in two shades, which include Medium Dark (which is a sheer, yet subtle bronze with gold pearl) and Dark (which is a vibrant golden bronze). If you are a woman who is light, you may want to purchase the Medium Dark. If you are a woman who is darker (like myself), you will find that Dark is the most effective. Skinsheen Leg Spray sells for $26.50.

MAC definitely knew what they were doing when they included the Mineralized Skin Finishes into the Bronze Everyday collection. If you know anything about these products, they are absolutely amazing and cater to those that are looking to use something lightweight. Despite being lightweight, the Mineralized Skin Finishes definitely prove why they are one of MAC's top selling products. The Mineralized Skin Finish Natural includes two beautiful shades, which include Give Me Sun! (which is a rather luminous peachy tan) and Sun Power (which is a terracotta bronze). The Sun Power reminds me of authentic clay soil and truly delivers an amazing color payoff. The Mineralized Skin Finish comes in two amazing colors, which include Soft & Gentle (which is a golden peach bronze) and Gold Deposit (which is a diffused yet deep bronze). The Mineralized Skin Finish Natural retails for $27, and the Mineralized Skin Finish sells for $28.

You don't have to be a MAC enthusiast to appreciate, let alone love the Bronze Everyday collection. Would I recommend these products? Absolutely. Would I use them again? Definitely.
