Maca Root: Women Need to Hear About This Amazing Super Food!
Use Maca Root to Balance Hormones and Even Increase Breast Size
First off, I have suffered with a hormonal imbalance (see: Hormonal Imbalance: Could a Hormonal Imbalance Be Causing Your Weight Gain) called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome for years now. I have thankfully been able to manage my hormonal imbalance by vitamins, herbs, diet, exercise and overall good health. However, I have not yet perfected hormonal balance and still occasionally struggle with an imbalance issue here and there. Because of this I am constantly on the search for new ways to achieve true hormonal balance - without prescribed medications. That is what brought me to the study of Maca Root.
Maca Root is grown in Peru. Maca Root grows in the harshest of climates way a top the mountains. It is truly treasured by the Peruvians as a healing super food. The people of Peru have been using Maca Root for a long time dating back to the time of the Incas. Maca Root has been traditionally used to boost fertility and increase the libido! There are so many wonderful things that Maca Root is known for, the list can go on and on!
Acording to scientific studies, maca is a powerful adaptogen. This simply means that Maca Root has the ability to give you only what your body needs! This is one of the reasons Maca Root is so well know for balancing hormones. Because Maca Root does not contain any hormones it's self, but rather aids the body in producing what it is deficient in, it truly gives a unique balance an overall wellness to the body! This is also why Maca Root is used for increasing sex drive, fertility, improving sperm count, regulating menstrual cycles, clearing acne and other skin conditions, ease menopausal symptoms, adrenal gland function, and even boosting energy!
Most scientific studies have proven maca Root to be safe for most men and women. Maca Root acts differently for men and women. For men, Maca Root can help build muscle and is promoted to body builders and professional athletes for stamina. In women, Maca tends to help women keep their feminine shape and achieve hormonal balance. There is a caution to women who may have endometrosis - please use Maca with care or avoid it all together. Because your levels are high in estrogen, it is noted that those suffering from endometrosis can be put more at risk for breast cancer and should avoid Maca. This was about the only hormonal imbalance that Maca was warned against.
Now, Maca Root is also rumored to help women achieve a more curvaceous body. Yes, many Maca Root users have increased their booty size to a more curvaceous appeal! Even more interestingly there are women who attribute the use of Maca to more plentiful breasts! There are many messgae boards filled with woman who make these claims! This is only possible because Maca is an adaptogen, so if a woman's breast didn't grow as they should because let's say their estrogen was too low, then with Maca their estrogen was balanced and breast growth accrued. The same goes for those who experienced gain in the bottom half from taking Maca Root. Some women describes this by saying that it seemed like the weight started distributing differently. Instead of going straight to the arms and belly, fat seemed to be attracted to the butt, breast, hips and thighs.
Okay - I am sold! Seriously though, I decided to buy a pound of Maca Root powder and use it myself. I will be writing more on this, so stay posted for future articles on Maca Root! I will let you in on my success with Maca Root as I believe I will have. I have only been using it for three days, and already started to cycle - I was about two weeks late! I will admit the tatse of Maca Root is gross - but worth it so far!
