On January 15, Apple's CEO Steve Jobs will be delivering his keynote address at Macworld 2008 where he will reveal new products for the year and new technologies that will become available. With everyone wondering what can possibly top his iPhone announcement in 2007, there are already predictions being made amongst Mac enthusiasts; in this article you will learn of the predictions I'm making, and some of the ones that have been made on sites like PCWorld.com, MacWorldExpo.com, and even on Apple.com.

Macworld Keynote Prediction #1: iPhone Improvements and expansion

Although the iPhone is "so last year," I predict that Steve Jobs will be talking about improvements and expansions a lot. He will most likely announce an iPhone with more storage, and perhaps unlimited applications and games available for free online on iTunes. I suspect he will also be mentioning hundreds of accessories on sale that very day. Perhaps he may even announce that all cell phone carriers will soon be offering service for iPhone's.

Macworld Keynote Prediction #2: Long Lasting Batteries

Now, I don't know if this is accurate or not, but I predict that Mac will soon be coming up with longer lasting batteries than the ones currently available. The technology to make laptop batteries last up to 10 hours has already been created, and there is no reason why that couldn't be something Mac sells first, and perhaps even starts selling on that day.

Macworld Keynote Prediction #3: iTunes Movie Rentals

This is something that has already been announced, but it hasn't yet been launched. I predict that Steve Jobs will be announcing the launch of iTunes movies on demand during his keynote address at Macworld 2008. It is defintely something that iTunes, iPod, iPhone users are waiting for.

Macworld Keynote Prediction #4: Mac Tablet

Although rumors of Apple making a Mac Tablet have not been confirmed at all by anyone out there, this would definitely be a great announcement were it to be made at Macworld 2008. It would impress all of the Mac enthusiasts, as this is something that Mac hasn't yet created that many PC makers have. This is something I'm personally hoping for!

Macworld Keynote Prediction #5: Mac Office 2008

Although this isn't really something that was created by Apple, I assume that this will be something Apple's CEO will be mentioning during his keynote address. Mac Office 2008 will be the latest version of Microsoft Office that Mac users have had available in approximately 4 years. It is also something that Mac business people and students consider to be of great importance, and that will allow Apple customers more flexibility, and productivity.
