Macworld 2009 Trade Show: Prepare for the Exhibit with This Guide

With Over 40,000 Expected Attendees, Make Sure You Come Prepared

Sanneke
Over 40,000 attendees are expected at the Macworld 2009 Conference and Expo. Use this survival guide during your visit at the Macworld 2009 conference and expo.

Clothing

Comfort is key to your survival at this years conference. Decide wisely what clothing you will wear during the five days at the Macworld 2009 Expo. Shoes should be broken in and very comfortable. Obviously impressions are important but wearing a high heel or a new pair of mens dress shoes is not a wise decision for survival at the Macworld 2009 trade show.

All articles of clothing should be loose. Dress in light layers if you head out while its still chilly. Think light weight because you do not want to carry alot of articles around the Macworld 2009 trade show.

Personal Items

Remember the Fanny packs that snap around your waist? Fanny packs are a great survival piece of gear for your journey through the Macworld 2009 expo. Keys, Money, ID's, and a few other personal items will fit comfortably in a Fanny pack and you will be hands free. Looping it through your pants belt loop may be cumbersome when using the restroom but insures it would be difficult to pick pocket or remove without your knowledge. This also saves on lugging items around.

Materials and Literature

Many exhibitors will provide you with different styles of bags, or printed sacks to carry your materials you acquire during the Macrworld 2009 trade show, however all the materials and literature can weigh you down quickly and wear you out. Consider a small luggage cart with a banker box sized crate attached. There are some nice ones available at the office supplies stores and they break down for storing and would even travel well. They are very easy to maneuver and will save strain on your back.

Planning your Time

When you arrive pick up a booklet with all the vendors, and a site map, Spend some time planning your strategy. Who do you want to see? Where are they located on the map? Do they have any events planned that you want to be sure and attend? I highly recommend spending the first few days visiting those you identify up front first, then go back through the Macworld 2009 trade show and look at the new technology and what other exhibitors have to offer.

I always fidn that taking my own tote abg to these sort of things is better than the one's provided at the booths. And, the luggage carrier is a great idea.
