Mad Libs: When He's Just Not that into You

Remember when you first started dating your guy? Do you remember how attentive he was. Do you remember all those wonderful little things he did for you? So do I. It seems once you've been dating or married for over a year all these little wonderful moments become further and further apart. Now you have to remind him to kiss you good by in the morning or when he comes home in the evening. Does he kiss the dog first? Remember sweet thoughtful cards or little love notes? I'm sure you're lucky to get a sticky note with "pick up the dry cleaning" written on it let alone something mushy.

Recently a book came out "He's Just Not That Into You". It certainly hit the nail on the head. It was meant more for the gal who is in a dating situation or wants to be in one. The gal goes out with a guy and he never calls, or he calls once every few weeks at the last minute for a chat. This author actually had to point out to these gals that the fellow they were focusing on wasn't all that into them. Well, it rang a bell for me. I'm in a 24 year marraige and although we both love each other without question , the special little things we did when dating have certainly gone by the wayside.

Here's a little game based on Mad Libs you can play with him. Or just print it out and give your guy the sheet to fill in to help him express all those feelings he's stopped expressing. You can call it Mad Loves if you'd like.

Mad Love # 1

My Darling (female name/noun),

Watching you (activity) this morning I couldn't take my (body part) off of you. Your (body part) made my heart skip a beat. Dragging myself away from you made me feel like (descriptive sad word). I left you with (feeling) in my heart. All day long thoughts of your beautiful (facial feature) were in my mind. I though back to the time when we .(sweet memory) as we spent those lovely moments in (place). You looked so (adjective) on your (piece of clothing). I love the way you (sign of affection). It makes me feel (emotion). Every second away from you is (some sort of pain). My heart (more pain). When I hear the radio playing ("our song"), I think of you. Whenever I hear romantic (music) I think of you and your sweet (body part).

I find my (body part) wandering when I think of you. Your soft (body part), your shining (body part), your long (body part). There is no one in the (place) that can compare to you. I am so (feeling) to have found you. Having you in my life has given me (feeling).

Mad Love #2

I stared at your (noun) today. You look like an (noun). No one makes me (feeling) the way you do. I cannot believe (noun) . I love you more than (descriptive). When we walk down the (place) I know people think I am (descriptive) in the world. Just holding your (body part) makes me (feeling). I would love to (action). If I could take you to a deserted (romantic place) I would (action). We would spend hours (action). We would bask in the (romantic) and whisper (action) into each others (body parts). If I were on a (place) I would want you with me.

I am so (feeling) to have you in my (noun).

Mad Love #3

I had a dream about (name of person, hopefully yours). We were (action) together. There were beautiful (nons)all around us. You were dressed in a (noun/piece of clothing). The (noun/nature) made you look like a (noun). I couldn't take my (body part) off you. My heart was (noun/action). We were on an (place). The (weather) was (adjective). All we could do was (action). Moments felt like (noun) because I had you in my (body parts) I had a (adjective) for you. I told you if I could I would give you (noun). You are the most (adjective) in my life I want you to (action) forever. I love you more than (noun).

You see where this is going? Now you're guy can be romantic with minimal mental output. All he has to do is fill in the blanks and if he's real creative he can use the same Mad Lib over and over just changing the information in the blanks.
