Mad Men Rolling Stone Cover, Memorable but No True Blood Cover (Photo Link)

Mad Men has graced the cover of the September 16 issue of Rolling Stone, and is available today on newsstands. While it is no True Blood Rolling Stone cover which shocked, stoked imaginations and even offended some with the nude and blood-covered stars Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard, it's still one of those photos that makes you look twice, and maybe even a third time.

Featuring Mad Men stars Jon Hamm, Elizabeth Moss, January Jones and Christina Hendricks, the photo captures the hype of the hit show with the characters' authentic 1960's clothes, hairstyles, and the looks on their faces which suggest their lives are chockfull of drama.

Mad Men just walked away with several Emmy Awards on August 29, including the coveted "Outstanding Drama Series" for the third consecutive year since it began in 2007. Part of the show's intrigue is the fact that the cast members were relatively unknown before its inception.

In case you've never watched the AMC cable network hit show, Mad Men is about an advertising agency on Madison Avenue in New York City set in the 1960s. The center of the show is Jon Hamm's character, Don Draper, who is a creative director and founding partner at the ad agency and what happens to Draper both inside and outside of the office.
