Madden NFL 11 Player Ratings: Manning, Revis Lead

Each year when Madden NFL's new game comes out, there is much speculation over which players will get the highest ratings.

Madden NFL 11 features six players with perfect ratings of 99 this year, and they were recently listed on ESPN.com in preparation of the game's release.

Some of the 99-rated players were expected but others just barely made it into Madden NFL 11 as "perfect" players.

While these players don't have perfect stats across the board, they're good enough overall to make it to the hallowed 99 threshold.

Here are the 99-rated players:

Peyton Manning-Colts QB deserves it for the regular season but it should drop a bit in the playoffs, let's be honest. Still, an all-time great.

Darrelle Revis- A little premature for Jets CB? Not based on last year's peformance.

Jared Allen- Vikings DE is good vs. run and pass.

Drew Brees- No arguments for Super Bowl-wining superstar.

Chris Johnson- Insane yards per carry average and speed place him here.

Patrick Willis- Former Ole Miss LB is perhaps the league's best right now for 49ers.

For those wondering, Adrian Peterson ended up as a 98 in the new game, perhaps due to fumbling and injury issues.
