Olin-Turville Park in Madison will host its 19th annual Fantasy of Lights on November, 14th through December, 1st. Admission for this event is free. Donations are accepted and encouraged, but not mandatory. Expect to feel a surging joy when looking up at the thousands of lights strewn throughout the park. Located on 1156 Olin-Turville Ct., the Fantasy of Lights is right across from the Coliseum. Visit between 4:30pm-10pm daily or call (608)-239-7888 for more information.
On 3330 Atwood Ave. you can stop by Olbrich's Holiday Express. Running from Dec, 1st through the 31st Olbrich's Holiday Express will exhibit wonderful lights fit inside life size landscapes and mode trains. This is a great activity for kids to enjoy. Visit between 10am and 4pm on any day but Christmas. Still, that's plenty of time to rush out and see an interesting decoration.
For the whole 9 yards, visit the Winter Art Festival in Sun Prairie. This is an all encompassing even that covers singing, Santa, cider and more. The event will be fit with decorations and lights to accent the night, which will be held one time only on Friday, November 23rd. Admission begins at 6:15pm and is free to enter. Another festival offering holiday lights and decorations will be the De Forest Fine Arts/Crafts Fair. This event will be held in tandem with the Winterfest Celebration. The event will kick off on December 1st at 9am and run until 3pm that afternoon. The De Forest Fine Arts/Crafts Fair will offer an array of holiday creations, activities, carols and more. Madison really does have some multicultural holiday events to offer and it's well worth the look if you're living in or around Madison, WI. Not only that, you won't find another place with such authentic and sincere people to conjure up the yule tid spirit. With special emphasis on art and creativity this season, Madison is shaping up to collect a lot of interesting memories.
