When everyone so full of angst

Outlived their uses

And I couldn't find anyone

Like Bowie in Berlin

I was on my own.

You were there

Bestowing your blessings.

You knew what it was like.

Divorced,

Dejected,

With daughters of your own.

You gave me hope

Your state being a vessel of nurturing

Like a paintbrush

On your canvas

Giving me new life

Sharing your passion like Baudelaire,

the firey romantic!

You helped me be born

into your concepts of love.

As a stranger where I've been raised

You helped me come into my own.

Into the unity of

Meaning and purpose.
