Looking over the search results on Google, I noticed many results for Mafia Wars Cheat Codes for Facebook and several variations of that phrase. There are a lot people out there who are looking for an easy way to get ahead. There are also many people looking for different ways to improve their game play. Some are perhaps just looking for tips to complete a single level or finish a part of the game they're having trouble with. Whatever your motivation is you're probably here wondering if cheat codes even exist for Mafia Wars on Facebook.

It's understandable why someone would want to use cheat codes for Mafia Wars. Having been around for over a year and coming up on a 3rd expansion there is awful lot of competition, many cool weapons and missions that you can only gain access to at a certain level or with a lot of money or favor points. It would be nice if you could just push a few keys and skip the hours of game play required to boost your profile in. Whether your motivation is impatience or a last resort, is cheating your way to the top on Mafia Wars even an option? Unfortunately, it's not an option and I haven't seen any evidence to refute this. Maybe a glitch here and there but that's all.

But what about an auto player or a bot? Surely that's a good thing right? Well, no. I can understand wanting to use one. Since you can't be online to play Mafia Wars all the time a bot would be effective to increase your level, win fights and gain money at a rate faster than you normally would. However, after awhile the bot wouldn't be very effective simply because the chances of you not getting online before your stats are maxed out are very slim if you've allocated your experience points correctly. Plus, there is always the possibility that the script you download is infected with a trojan or a virus. Too risky for me to want to bother with.

So it's safe to say that cheat codes are nothing but a myth started by a few Mafia Wars players and bots aren't a good idea to use. There are many shortcuts you can take but you can't just snap your fingers and have 500 mafia members, trillions of dollars, hundreds of favor points and thousands of experience points. The property strategy will always win the Mafia War.
