Magic Farm Strategy Guide

Magic Farm is a wonderful time management game about a girl who must find her parents. In order to raise money for the various stages of the search, she must grow, harvest, and sell flowers, with the help of a cute little dragon named Robin.

In Magic Farm, you may plant different types of flowers, which leads to quite a bit of strategizing. This fun game tests more than just your time management skills. You earn more money if you have specific arrangements of blooms, so it is not as simple as growing the most expensive flowers.

General Strategies for Magic Farm:

Whenever possible, make bouquets. When I first played Magic Farm I made all the bouquets I could and then sold off the rest each day. Rather, try to "store" as many blooms as possible into half complete bouquets if you cannot make any full ones.

Try to have fairly even numbers of the different types of plants. I have found that if you only have 2 of one kind of plant, and 4 of each of the others, you will find it hard to make bouquets when they begin producing rare and unique blooms.

You may have to sell some of the left over blooms to keep your storage from being full, so try to sell the more common ones off first. I try to keep at least 2 or 3 of each type in my storage box anyway so I will have all kinds on hand to make bouquets the next day.

In order to be able to keep more unmatched blooms on hand, try to expand your storage space before you begin reaching the limit.

Robin, your helpful dragon, can water plants without using up stored water. If you have one too many plants, and not quite enough water, keep some water in reserve and wait for Robin to water them first. If the plant gets down to just one drop, water it quickly or your plant will die!

If you have a well, it will be full at the beginning of the day. Instead of filling your barrels completely, fill to full, less 5, and get your barrels to maximum once you start the day by clicking on the well right away.

Don't sell off all of your plants at any point to get money to move to the next stage-you will need these plants to complete the bonus quests!

Magic Farm Tips and Tricks: First Farm

Don't pay the 50 coins for the detective right away. After you hear the detective's news, you'll have to remain at the farm to earn enough money to travel with anyway. Use any money you earn at first to invest in plants of all three kinds so you will be able to make any bouquets.

Buy a well before buying a second barrel. If you are careful, you will be able to manage your water situation.

Magic Farm Tips and Tricks: Second Farm

When you move on to the next stage from here, you get shipwrecked, and will lose almost all of your money, so there is no point than having more than 100 coins in your treasury when you go on the voyage.

Magic Farm Tips and Tricks: Third Farm

Try to plant all 3 types of plants before planting any duplicates. It is tempting to plant a second pineapple right away, but the bouquets will soon involve nopal flowers.

You can save a lot on water at this farm, especially when your cactuses grow larger, because they will provide you with extra water. Buy a well before you buy an extra barrel.

Save up a few thousand coins before heading to the next farm, because you WILL be able to use your coins there.

Magic Farm Tips and Tricks: Fourth Farm

With the money from the last farm, you can buy all three types of plants and a well right away. Having the three plants on this farm will shortly be making more money than the last farm.

You can always go back to the last farm to earn some more money if you need it.

Do not pay for the expedition right away, because you will then need to save up money to fun a rescue mission. Instead, use your first money to build up your plants so you can make money faster.

The goal is to beat "Margo," the name listed in the high scores menu as completing the game in 100 days. Happy playing!
