Vigilance - the creature does not tap to attack
Life Link - the creature's controller gains life equal to the amount of damage dealt by the creature when it attacks
Exalted - when a creature that you control attacks by alone it gets +1/+1
Used with angels and other creatures
Flying - a creature can only be blocked by a creature with flying or a creature that says it can block flying
Used with birds, dragons, angels, some faeries, etc.
Landfall - something good happens when a land is put into play under your control, this is different for each creature it is placed on
New to Magic the Gathering with Zendikar
First Strike - damage is dealt by this creature first
Double Strike - damage that would be dealt by target creature us doubled
Shroud - this creature can not be the target of spells or abilities
Islandwalk, forestwalk, swampwalk, or mountainwalk - this creature can not be blocked if the target opponent control the said basic land
Flash - this creature can be played like an instant
Persist - when this creature is put into a graveyard from play, if it had no -1/-1 counters on it, return it to play under its owner's control with a -1/-1 counter on it
Wither - this deals damage in the form of -1/-1 counters
Conspire - as you play this spell, you may tap two untapped creatures you control that share a color with it. When you do, copy it and you may choose a new target for the copy
Defender - this creature can't attack
Mostly used with creatures that are walls
Reach - this creature can block creatures with flying
Deathtouch - when this creature deals damage to a creature, destroy that creature
