Many people may be more prone to trying magnetic therapy if they knew it could prevent invasive surgeries and unneeded pain medications. While magnetic therapy doesn't create miracles, it does relieve pains, reduce inflammation, restore energy and help with circulation problems. Magnetic therapy can actually even prevent infections and improve the metabolic processing of toxins in your body.
Even though magnetic therapy is a natural remedy for many different problems in the human body, it is always necessary to consult with a doctor before using any alternative therapies. Because the magnets can cover up pains, it's important to know what the pains are being caused from first in case the problem lies deeper than just a pain.
There are a few different types of great working magnetic therapies. They are:
North Pole Magnet - This magnet causes negative energy which is best used for Arthritis's, auto-immune disorders, backaches and bedsores.
South Pole Magnet - This magnet causes positive energy which is best used on a abscess. This particular magnet will bring the abscess out and dry up the infection. You can also use this type of magnetic therapy for bronchitis and even just a common cold.
PMF Therapy - This magnet causes pulsed magnetic fields, otherwise known as electromagnetic. This form of magnetic therapy is one of the most popular forms of magnetic therapy. It can be used for blood circulation problems, bladder problems, cervical spine syndrome, constipation and depression.
Bipolar Magnetic Wristband - This magnet is a combination of North and South poles used together for special purposes such as weaknesses, brain circulation and carpal tunnel syndrome. This therapy is commonly used with certain types of cancer to alleviate pains.
It is important to know that magnetic therapies should not be used during pregnancy, while wearing a pacemaker, electronic implants or while using a transversal patch.
All and all, there really aren't too many cons to using magnetic therapy, as long as they are being used as a treatment directed from a doctor. You should always consult with a doctor before self medicating. However, once the problem has been spotted, adding magnetic therapies can always add a helping hand. A doctor will tell you which magnetic therapy will work best for your situation. You may need to ask your doctor about this particular therapy, because many health care providers don't always follow up with natural remedies when it comes to a health condition. However, they will not deprive you of any advice or opinion they have on the matter.
