Main Event for Wrestle Mania XXVIII

On the April 4^th edition of Monday Night Raw, John Cena called out a certain someone. Cena admitted that things did not go his way at Wrestle Mania XXVII and congratulated The Miz for leaving Wrestle Mania XXVII as the WWE Champion . Cena also told The Miz that he respected him for standing up to Stone Cold Steve Austin earlier in the night. However, Cena did not come out there to talk about The Miz. He came out there to talk about a certain someone. Cena claimed that certain someone does not like or respect him. Cena informed the WWE Universe that the certain someone he was talking about was in the building. That certain someone was suppose to be the guest host at Wrestle Mania XXVII , but got involved in Cena's business. Now that certain someone and Cena have business of their own to settle.

After reading the results of Wrestle Mania XXVII it was clear to see the certain someone Cena was referring to was The Rock. The Rock knew Cena was talking about him and made his way to the ring. The Rock asked Cena "what did you think was going to happen?". The Rock told Cena that he knew payback was coming. The Rock admitted to talking trash about Cena and told him he was wrong about not being respected. The Rock told Cena he respects him but he just does not like him. The Rock told Cena they were complete opposites. They talk different, dress different, and wrestle different. Despite their differences they are also very similar because they both want to do things better than everyone else.

After being insulted by The Rock, Cena said the time for talking was over. Stating that the WWE Universe does not want to see them talk, they want to see a match. The Rock agreed that the time for talking was over and told Cena he was going to bring it on the grandest stage in the world, Wrestle Mania XXVIII. The Rock extended his hand to Cena letting the WWE Universe know that the main event for Wrestle Mania XXVIII will be John Cena vs. The Rock.
