If you are getting together with lots of family for Fourth of July Celebrations, you may want to make a few kid packs as a special surprise. Pack the Kid Kits full of festive trinkets and the kids will be so excited to see the treasures they have been given. This can be an exciting way to help them celebrate and not get lost in the shuffle of all the adult activities going on! I'll list some fabulous ingredients for your Fourth of July Kid Kits! These kits are designed for kids ages 3-6, but may work well for older and younger children alike!

Bubbles are fun for kids of all ages. These days you can find so many fun inventions that have been made to increase the fun level of bubbles! From simple bubble tumblers that are spill proof for little hands, to bubble blowing guns, you can find almost every shape, color and character in the bubble department of your favorite store.

Balls of any type are loved by kids of all ages. They are so inventive and can think of fun games to play together. Toss, basket ball, catch and many other fun games can keep the kids happy and interacting with each other for hours. Try including some bouncy balls and perhaps a Frisbee for some extra special fun.

For a craft idea, add some blue, red and white construction paper. On the 4th of July, you can help the kids create something fun. A favorite for many kids are hats. Try gluing or taping the paper and decorating it for a festive 4th of July crown! You can make all sorts of decorations including paper chains with a few pieces of construction paper!

Coloring books are always a fun activity for kids. Search through the holiday department at your nearest general store, and you will find coloring books a plenty! Toss a small box of crayons in the kit, and the kids are ready for some fun coloring time!

A jump rope may be another fun toy for the kids to play with. The can jump together or alone, and find many other fun things to do with the rope. Limbo and Chinese Jump rope are just a few favorites among many children.

A sand toy kit can be lots of fun, even if there is no sand. Rocks, dirt, leaves and grass can all be shoveled with some imagination! Any child loves to collect special treasures and with a bucket, they'll have a place to store and haul their treasures along with them!

One last fun item you may want to pack in your children's 4th of July Kid Kit, is some festive apparel. Shoes, socks, t-shirts and hats make the holiday so much more fun for kids. Almost every child clothing store or department markets special red, white and blue attire for this holiday! Dress all the kids together and take some fun pictures for wonderful memories!

While this is just a simple list of possible ingredients in a Kid Kit, it is a great place to start. Feel free to hit the closest dollar store and see what else you can find! I can guarantee the kids will love whatever fun things you include for them!
