Make an ABC Scrapbook for Mother's Day

Mom love to receive homemade gifts from their babies on Mother's Day. This is a very simple gift for even little kids to make. Kids will love being creative with the ideas for the book and moms will love receiving this homemade gift that was make with love by the hands of their child. Here is how kids can make this easy ABC scrapbook for mom for Mother's day.

ITEMS NEEDED:

First, the kids will need a notebook or a binder. You could use a binder and a 3 hole punch with construction paper if you wish. Simply 3 hole punch all of the pages for the scrapbook and place them in the binder in order when the pages are finished.

This may be easier for kids to do, since the pages won't be bound or hard for them to work with, simply bind them into the binder when the child is finished creating each page. Next, you will need family photos, that can be cut up, and magazines, that can be cut up as well. You will also need markers, glue or tape, and scissors.

MAKE THE ABC SCRAPBOOK:

Once you have the items needed have the kids start putting together their ABC scrapbook for mom. Have the kids cut out family photos or magazie pictures into the shape of hearts. Each pictures should have something in it that starts with each letter of the alphabet. Have them go through the alphabet, first finding a picture that has something that starts with the litte A, like apples, then the letter B, like bananas.

Each pictures should remind them of something about mom, and below the pictures they should write with a marker, why this picture reminds them of mom. For instance, they could write "Apple remind me of mom, because she eats one for breakfast every morning." This makes it very special for mom, she can see how and what her kids think of her.
