Make a Balloon Confetti Drop for Your Wedding Reception

Making decorations on a budget for a wedding can be expensive and everyone is looking for ways to cut back these days. This is an excellent idea for a budget friendly wedding decoration. You could do several small versions of this also to put on the tables or hang from the ceiling for extra decoration.

ITEMS YOU WILL NEED: First you will need a large clear balloon, as big as you can find. Next, you will need some rose petals and confetti that match the colors of the wedding. You will also need an air compressor to fill the balloon with air, it does not need to be helium; however, you could use helium for smaller versions of this decoration if you would like. Lastly, you will need a way to hang this large balloon over the dance floor of the reception hall.

MAKE THE BALLOON CONFETTI DROP: The first step to making the confetti balloon drop is to fill the large balloon with the rose petals and the confetti. Next, fill the balloon up with the air compressor, careful not to bust the balloon during this process, make sure that your air compressor doesn't have too much pressure. You could blow the balloon up with your mouth if it is easier. Then, hang the large, confetti filled balloon up over the center of the dance floor.
