Make a Beach Vase in a Vase with Seashells and Starfish

ITEMS NEEDED:

First you will need a large vase and a small vase that resemble each other in appearance. For instance, you could use a V shaped vase or a round vase with a fluted edge, then simply use a smaller version of the same vase that will fit inside of the larger vase. The small vase doesn't have to be very big, it only has to be large enough to hold a votive or tealight candle. Next, you will need a lot of seashells and starfish and also a votive or tealight candle.

DESIGN YOUR VASE IN A VASE CENTERPIECE:

To design this centerpiece, all you will do is first fill the larger vase up about half way with the seashells and starfish. Depending on how big you smaller vase is you may need to form a bit of a hold in the seashells and starfish for it to settle down into. You may even need to dig a little bit of a hole for it to set into. However, if it is a very small vase, then you can simply set it right on top of the seashells and starfish in the center of the larger vase.

Once you have the small vase in place, put your votive or tealight candle in it. Now you can place these beach vase in a vase centerpieces on the center of your tables and light the candles right before the reception starts. Designate a person to make sure that the candles get lit before the reception.
