2/3 cup water
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 cup splenda granular
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1.Cut apples into either thick slices or 1-inch chunks. Place apples in a deep, microwave safe casserole dish. Add water, lemon juice, splenda, and cinnamon to apples.
2. Cook uncovered, on high for 5 minutes. Stir,mashing apples into the liquid.
3.Cook for an additional 5-8 minutes or until apples are tender.Mash apples again, mixing with liquid, until desired texture. Stir brown sugar into hot apple mixture. Serve hot or cold and store in refrigerator until ready to use. keeps about 3-4 days
