Make Commitments/ Reminders to Keep Your Finances Together

No one can ever be successful in a purpose in which his commitment is not invested. You may by now have known all what it takes to plan and what practical steps are necessary for that planning. Stop for a moment and commit yourself to the following obligations. Commit your mind to them and your body will follow.

Make an obligation that all what you planned for must be materialized and success must be recorded. The fact that you are reading and thinking of this page is already part of that commitment. You would not be reading this article if your mind was not there. Employ your person, your intellect and your emotions.

Make an obligation to pay yourself first. You are the one laboring for the money. Let your money bear fruits for you. As already said, set up a savings account and set aside a particular amount of your income geared towards that account. Anything reasonable will be OK for that start. Be sure never to go beneath that level you make. If you save more than what you did plan for, place the remainder into an emergency or crises fund. You will need it when the going gets tough.

Are you indebted to anyone? Make an obligation to redeem all your debts and above all never to fall into debts again. When it is impossible to pay all your debts, meet your creditors, talk out your situation with them and ask for grace. If you are honest to them, you will realize that some of them will be ready to surprise you by giving you more than you demand for. Postponing payment of your debts means paying more of your debts as interest and penalties pile up.

Make an obligation to always shop with a list. You avoid taking home things that you did not plan for. Buy with cash. This saves you more by keeping you out of any possible shopping temptations and buying what you did not plan for.

Make an obligation never to buy with a credit card. Simply saying 'charge it' may end up charging you for failing to plan.

Make an obligation to be yourself and even different from others. Never attempt to live by the Jones. You are the only one who knows your predicaments and must not be led by the intuition of others.

Your obligations are your principles or your daily bible. Always look are them every day. Make a chart of them and place them at a position for everyday visibility. A concise and careful reminder will give you the financial freedom which you always desire.
