Make Cushion and Pillow Cases from Button-Up Shirts
Interesting and Fun Way to Accent Your Home
- 1 button-up shirt
- needle and thread or sewing machine with thread
Turn the button-up shirt inside out and leave it buttoned. Simply lay the shirt flat out in front of you. Cut from armpit to armpit straight across. If the bottom of the shirt is oddly shaped, just cut straight across effectively cutting off this odd shaped part. Now you have a square. You make cut the square down to size to fit your particular cushion or pillows.
Finally, sew up the edges while the shirt is still inside out. Reach inside the holes in-between the buttons that are still buttoned up and unbutton what is now your new cushion or pillow case. Turn it right side out and place over your cushion or pillow. Button-up and enjoy!
