Make Diaper Centerpiece Baskets for a Baby Shower

If you are going to be hosting a baby shower soon and want to keep the cost lower for decorating, this is a great idea to use for a centerpiece for you shower tables. It is easy to do and easy on the budget as well, plus the baskets will all be gifts for the mom to be after the shower is over. Follow these steps to create your own diaper centerpiece baskets for your baby shower.

ITEMS NEEDED: You will need a few items to get started on your baby shower centerpiece. First you will need a couple of packages of diapers. You will also need several small baskets with two handles that come up and meet one another, you will need one for each table. The baskets only need to be big enough for about 2 or 3 diapers to lay down flat in the bottom of.

Next, you will need some baby products, like little bottle, pacifiers, rattles, teethers, and any other small baby items that you can think of that will fit into the baskets. You can leave these small items packaged if you would like, for instance the pacifiers, or you can remove them, for instance the bottles. You will also need a helium tank and balloons and ribbon that match the colors of the baby shower.

DESIGN YOUR DIAPER BASKETS: To start designing your deaper baskets you will simply need to place two or three diaers into the bottom of each basket. This simply acts as a lift, so that the products that you place in the baskets can be seen more easily.

Next a few of your small baby items, like the bottles and rattles into each basket to fill it up a little, it won't hurt if you can see the diapers, they are part of the gift. Finally, blow up about three balloons and lift the handles on the basket to meet one another. Tie your three balloons onto the basket handles and you're done. This is all there is to making your cute little diaper basket centerpieces that will double as a gifts for the mom to be.
