The Chef's Table at Victoria and Albert's in the Grand Floridian Resort:
Every night except Sunday and Wednesday the chef at Victoria and Albert's serves one party of up to 10 people at the exclusive Chef's Table. Dinner starts promptly at 6 p.m. every evening, and the menu varies from night to night. The chef will prepare some of his finest dishes exclusively for your party, and if you choose to you can enjoy the Royal Wine Pairings from Victoria and Albert's lavish wine cellar. Your table is in the kitchen where you can watch the chefs prepare their dishes and interact with them. It's costly, starting at $165 per person plus tax and gratuity and an additional $70 per person for wine parings, but it is a night of excellent food and style. These reservations are tough to get as there is only one available per night and must be made 180 days in advance by calling the Disney Dining hotline at 7 a.m. Eastern time exactly. It's well worth the dialing, though, and you'll be treated to a night of Disney pampering unlike any other.
My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort:
You can treat your little princess to to a royal tea with Sleeping Beauty's Princess Aurora and her storyteller Rose Petal. $225 for one adult and one child ages 3-11 includes a tea party about an hour and a half long, an exclusive Aurora doll and tiara for your princess, a traditional tea plate for the adult and a child's tea plate (juice instead of tea, fruit, and sandwiches) for the child. Boys are welcome too, but they will receive a Prince Charming crown and teddy bear in lieu of the doll and tiara. Little girls usually dress in their favorite princess costumes or a nice tea dress; this is certainly an unforgettable Disney magic moment for them.
