Make Extra Money Giving Away Diet Sheets

Give Away Weight Loss Diet Sheets to Over Weight People

Sandra Bacon
I bet you're wondering just how do you make extra money giving away diet sheets? Well it's an easy process that I will be happy to share with you. This process also shows that you can still make money off line, and now that everyone is clamoring to make money on line, the field for off line profits is basically open.

I'll start by telling you that the diet sheets you will be giving away, is just a basic diet plan. It seems everyone and their mother is trying to loose weight, they have all used diet, after diet, after diet, with no success.

What you can do is create your own diet plan, and give it away for free and charge for postage and handling only. Now I know you're probably saying you can't do this, but you can. Go on line and do a search for basic food groups. When you pull this information up, take a look at the foods listed in each group and create your menus from this.

You can create menus for a week or for a month, the choice is yours. You can also list how many calories they should consume daily (for height and sex), how much food equals a portion, and how to make healthy food choices.

Don't pretend to be an expert, but do your research and report the facts as you find them, and please, whatever information you research, don't infringe on anyone's copyrighted material. Use the information as a guideline then present your own menus and information.

After you have your menus and information organized the way you want it, the next step is advertising your weight loss diet sheet to the public. You do this by taking out small, expensive ads in your local shopper's guide, the National Enquirer, Globe and any other publication you can think of.

View the ads in these publications, check previous issues to see which ads are being placed every week and every month. Examine the wording of these ads, then come up with your own. If these ads are coming back time and again, then they are doing their job and pulling in orders. So pay attention to what the others are doing.

When you draft your ad, make it simple and to the point, but give them enough information to let them know that the diet sheet contains information that will help them loss weight painlessly, and all they have to do is send whatever you're going to charge for shipping and handling, and you will send the information to them.

A report I read stated a person did this, and that for every 1,000 diet sheets distributed, they received 42,000 responses. Can you imagine your profit if you did this and charged $4 dollars for shipping and handling?

Charge $1.50 for shipping and you keep $2.50 X 42,000 = $105,000. I hope my math is right, but you get the picture. As I stated before, direct response advertising is not dead. There are a lot of people who still make a profit from this, because there are still a lot of people who don't own computers, aren't computer savvy or they enjoy reading the classified ads in newspapers, magazines and local shopping guides.

So if you have a desire to make extra money, why not trying giving away your own weight loss diet sheets to over weight people and see how you make out.

why would you want to take expensive adds out? That would cut into the profits big time.
